Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah Undergoes First Interrogation as Corruption Suspect
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has officially examined former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah for the first time as a suspect. The interrogation took place on Friday (17/7/2026) at the Round Building, Kejagung, Jakarta. Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum), Anang, confirmed that the examination of Febrie was conducted simultaneously with the handover of evidence and items from the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) and the Corruption Eradication Task Force (Kortas Tipidkor).
“At the same time, investigators from the Attorney General’s Office have summoned Mr FA for questioning as a suspect,” Anang stated during a press conference at the Kejagung Round Building on Friday. When asked to confirm whether Febrie was already in the investigation room, Anang affirmed that the process was underway.
Prior to the announcement, a joint team of investigators from the Metro Jaya Police’s Special Criminal Investigation Directorate and Kortas Tipidkor officially handed over all documents, tools, and evidence to the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). The evidence primarily included cash in various local and foreign currencies worth Rp 67.2 billion, seized during a search at the de’Clan Restaurant and Koin Money Changer in Cipete, South Jakarta. The police team also handed over additional cash in various denominations totalling approximately Rp 467 billion, along with 74 kilograms of gold bullion. Another suspect, Don Ritto (DR), was also transferred to Jampidsus investigators.
Deputy Head of Kortas Tipidkor, Brigadier General Boro Windu, stated that with the handover of all evidence and the suspect to Jampidsus, the further handling of the corruption case involving Febrie is now fully under the control of the Attorney General’s Office. “With the completion of this handover, the subsequent investigation process is entirely the authority of the Attorney General’s Office,” Boro said at the Round Building on Friday. He added that the National Police would respect and trust the AGO’s continuation of the investigation, calling on all parties to place their full confidence in the AGO to resolve the legal process thoroughly in accordance with the law.
