Jakarta — Former Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte, also known as Batara, has died after an illness, aged 18 October 2026. He previously served as head of the Indonesian National Police’s International Relations Division.

News of the former two-star general’s death was reported by a family member. His niece, Fenny Halim, said the news was deeply upsetting.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of our beloved uncle, Napoleon Bonaparte. May Allah SWT forgive all his sins, accept his good deeds, grant him eternal peace, make his grave spacious and place him in Jannatul Firdaus,” she said in Jakarta on Sunday.

She also sincerely asked forgiveness for any mistakes or wrongs the deceased may have committed, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Fenny prayed that Allah would give strength, patience and comfort to the family he had left behind.

“Rest in peace, dear Uncle. You will always be remembered in our hearts,” Fenny said.
