Former Hotel Sultan Assets Moved to Warehouses, Clearance Targeted for Completion in One Month

The process of clearing and removing goods from Blok 15 of the former Hotel Sultan is still ongoing as of Wednesday, 24 June 2026. Items seized from the former hotel are being moved in stages to two warehouses in the Cikarang area, Bekasi Regency, according to their type, origin, and specific characteristics. “The process of moving the goods resulting from the Blok 15 seizure is still underway. The items are being transferred to two designated warehouses and stored based on type, origin, and characteristics. We are targeting the clearance and removal of all goods to be completed within approximately one month,” said Kharis Sucipto, legal representative for the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre (PPKGBK), on Wednesday. Kharis explained that once the clearance and removal process is finished, the results will be reported to the government and relevant parties. All stages are being carried out as part of the follow-up to the seizure of Blok 15 of the former Hotel Sultan on 18 June 2026. He detailed that the first warehouse is being used to store goods originating from the hotel area, tower, and restaurant. This warehouse is located at the Cikarang Warehouse Complex, 2C Blok CF Number 2, Pasiranggi Village, Central Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Meanwhile, goods originating from the apartments are being stored in a second warehouse located in the MM2100 Industrial Estate, Jalan Selayar 2 Blok I/5, Cikedokan Village, West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. These goods will be stored for six months, commencing from the Official Seizure Report dated 18 June 2026. During this period, the applicant for the seizure is responsible for safeguarding and storing the goods to ensure they remain properly recorded and maintained. “Should PT Indobuildco wish to retrieve these goods, the process can be coordinated with the Ministry of State Secretariat and the court. The costs of moving and temporary storage during this process are borne by the seizure applicant,” Kharis stated. Separately, Mover Team Coordinator Stefanus Didi explained that the removal process is conducted through a structured work system, from labelling, packaging, and transportation to the placement of goods in the warehouse. Each item is recorded so that its origin, type, and storage location can be traced back. The goods being moved include hotel furniture such as chairs, tables, and sofas, various hotel operational equipment, as well as restaurant supplies like plates and cutlery. Items with high economic value receive special handling during the packaging and transportation process.
