Former Head of National Nutrition Agency Named Suspect in MBG Corruption Case; Holds Rp 9 Billion in Assets

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has officially named the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hidayana, along with two former Deputy Heads, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung, as suspects in an alleged corruption case concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. Dadan’s reported assets total Rp 9 billion.

According to data from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday (3/6/2026), Dadan’s 2024 wealth report (LHKPN) shows ownership of two plots of land in Bogor valued at Rp 5.9 billion. He also owns three vehicles—a Mazda CX5, a Honda HR-V, and a Mazda CX3—valued at Rp 1.4 billion. Additionally, Dadan reported other movable assets worth Rp 322 million, as well as cash and cash equivalents of Rp 1.4 billion. He carries no debt, bringing his total wealth to Rp 9 billion.

Regarding Sony Sonjaya, his total reported wealth is Rp 12.9 billion, consisting of 11 plots of land across Bandung, Sumedang, and Purwakarta valued at Rp 10 billion. Sony also possesses four vehicles worth Rp 823 million, other movable assets worth Rp 250 million, and cash and cash equivalents of Rp 1.8 billion, with no recorded debt.

Lodewyk Pusung’s reported wealth is significantly higher at Rp 60.5 billion. This includes 28 plots of land and buildings spread across North Minahasa, Manado, East Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor, and Depok, with a total value of Rp 58.7 billion. He also owns four vehicles worth Rp 796 million, other movable assets worth Rp 300 million, and cash and cash equivalents of Rp 719 million, with no debt.

All three individuals have been detained following their designation as suspects in the MBG programme management corruption case. However, the Attorney General’s Office has yet to detail the specific state losses or the full legal construction of the case.

“The investigation concerns the alleged corruption in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme within the National Nutrition Agency for the 2025-2026 period,” stated the Director of Investigation at the Jampidsus division of the Attorney General’s Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, during a press conference in South Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6/2026). He added that the investigation was conducted based on an order dated 29 May 2026, and the designation of suspects followed the examination of the three individuals as witnesses.
