Former Director of Inhutani V Faces Bribery Case Verdict Hearing Today
Jakarta — Dicky Yuana Rady, Chief Executive of PT Exploitation and Forest Industry (Inhutani) V for the 2021–2025 period, faced a hearing on the reading of charges concerning alleged bribery in forest management cooperation.
The hearing was presided over by Chief Judge Teddy Windiartono at the Corruption Court within the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday.
In the case of alleged bribery related to forest management cooperation within Inhutani V during 2024–2025, Dicky is accused of receiving a bribe valued at SGD 199,000, equivalent to approximately Rp2.55 billion (at an exchange rate of Rp12,800 per Singapore dollar).
He allegedly received the money from two private businessmen, Djunaidi Nur and Aditya Simaputra.
The money was received in order to condition or arrange for PT PML to continue its cooperation with PT Inhutani V in utilising forest areas in registers 42, 44, and 46 within Lampung Province.
For his actions, Dicky faces criminal penalties under Article 12(a) or Article 11 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Offences, as amended and supplemented by Law Number 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, Djunaidi Nur and Aditya Simaputra have been found guilty and sentenced at a verdict hearing on 14 January 2026, each receiving custodial sentences of 2 years 4 months and 1 year 6 months respectively, relating to the alleged corruption in forest management.
In addition to custodial sentences, Djunaidi and Aditya were each ordered to pay fines of Rp100 million with three months’ additional imprisonment in default, and Rp50 million with two months’ additional imprisonment in default, respectively.
In the verdict, both defendants were found guilty of providing bribes totalling SGD 199,000, equivalent to approximately Rp2.52 billion, to Dicky.
As such, both defendants were found guilty of violating Article 5(1)(a) of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55(1) primary clause in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code.
