Former Deputy Head of National Nutrition Agency Lodewyk Files Third Pre-trial Motion, Again Over Seizure
Former Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Lodewyk Pusung has again filed a pre-trial motion in connection with the alleged corruption case in the governance of the free nutritious meals programme. This legal action marks the third time Lodewyk has pursued the pre-trial route.
The motion was registered by Lodewyk on Wednesday (26/8), under case number 150/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL. In this latest application, Lodewyk is contesting the legality of the seizure carried out by the investigation team of the Attorney General’s Office.
“Case classification: legality of the execution of forced seizure measures,” read the information on the Case Tracking Information System of the South Jakarta District Court, as quoted on Saturday (29/8/2026).
According to the schedule that has been set, the South Jakarta District Court will hold the first hearing for this application on Friday (4/9) next week. “First hearing Friday, 4 September 2026.”
For context, the first motion was filed by Lodewyk at the South Jakarta District Court to challenge the validity of his suspect status. However, the judge ruled that the South Jakarta District Court lacked authority to hear the case because the locus delicti was deemed not to be in South Jakarta.
Subsequently, Lodewyk filed a second motion at the Central Jakarta District Court. The focus of that motion was the legality of the forced seizure by the Attorney General’s Office. The single judge at the Central Jakarta District Court granted the Attorney General’s Office’s exception. The judge ruled that the Central Jakarta District Court also lacked authority to hear the pre-trial motion. As a result, the judge did not consider or examine the substance of the seizure or the suspect designation against Lodewyk at all.
For context, Lodewyk Pusung has been named a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the governance of the free nutritious meals programme by the Attorney General’s Office. Lodewyk rejected the designation and filed a pre-trial motion against the Attorney General’s Office.
