Former Defence Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu laid to rest at Kalibata National Heroes' Cemetery

TNI soldiers carried the coffin during the funeral ceremony at Kalibata National Heroes’ Cemetery on Monday, 1 June 2026. Retired General Ryamizard Ryacudu, who served as Defence Minister from 2014 to 2019, passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday, 31 May 2026 at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto in Jakarta due to illness. Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin laid a wreath, while TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita paid their final respects.
