Former Boss of Taufik Hidayat Asks KDM's Bounty Money to Be Given to Victims

Dadang Ahyar Ismail (53), the former boss of Taufik Hidayat, has stated that any reward money from the bounty offered by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (KDM) should be given to the victims. Taufik Hidayat, a suspect in a case of confinement and abuse, was arrested in Majalaya on Tuesday night.

Prior to his capture, Taufik contacted Dadang seeking advice. Dadang urged him to surrender and not to flee any further. “Oh yes, I heard from my wife, if it is true there is a statement that whoever hands over the suspect will be given Rp 250 million,” Dadang said on Wednesday.

Dadang expressed that if he were to receive the bounty, he would immediately pass it on to the victims. “Alhamdulillah, I would accept it and then give it to the victims, because they need it more. Or Mr KDM can just give it directly to the victims,” he added.
