Former BJB CEO Yuddy Renaldi Acquitted in Sritex Case
Former CEO of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat Tbk (BJBR), Yuddy Renaldi, has been declared not guilty in the alleged corruption case involving the provision of credit facilities to PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL). This decision was handed down by the panel of judges at the Semarang Corruption Court on Thursday (7/5/2026). “We declare the defendant not proven guilty according to the public prosecutor’s indictment in its entirety,” said Chief Judge Rommel Franciskus Tampubolon during the hearing in Semarang. According to the judge, there was never any order, pressure, or intervention from the defendant to process Sritex’s credit application. He stated that the defendant actually requested that the credit application be processed in accordance with the regulations. Furthermore, he said, no subjective errors or malicious intent were found, either in the form of intent or negligence. “The defendant had no intention to act unlawfully. The legal consequences that occurred in this case are not a result of the defendant’s actions, but from other parties outside the defendant’s knowledge, power, or will,” he said. He added that the defendant was also unaware of the financial report manipulations carried out by PT Sritex. In its ruling, the court ordered the defendant to be released immediately after the verdict was read.
