Forging Strategic Partnership, Lion Parcel and AstraPay Drive Digitalisation of Transactions at Agent Level
PT Lion Express, or Lion Parcel, has forged a strategic partnership with AstraPay to accelerate the digitalisation of transactions in its agent network through the implementation of QRIS payments. Chief Retail Officer of Lion Parcel, Febri Andika, explained that this collaboration not only introduces alternative digital payment methods but also focuses on operational transformation at the agent level, as the frontline of logistics services. “This initiative aligns with the government’s efforts to promote the adoption of digital transactions in the UMKM sector as a mainstay of the national economy,” said Febri in his statement on Tuesday, 12 May 2026. As part of this cooperation, Lion Parcel and AstraPay are also introducing various initiatives to enhance education and penetration of digital transactions. One of them is “Agen Lion Parcel Jagoan AstraPay” as a performance-based appreciation programme running for six months, to encourage Lion Parcel agent partners to increase the use of digital transactions in their daily dealings with customers. The programme has reached hundreds of Lion Parcel agent partners across various regions in Indonesia, with 36 top agents receiving appreciation to support their business development. Febri explained that this collaboration is a strategic step in strengthening the digital service ecosystem in the agent network. “In addition to introducing digital payment methods, we are also encouraging transactional behaviour transformation at the agent level. AstraPay’s QRIS enables faster, safer, and integrated payment processes, thereby helping agent partners improve operational efficiency while providing a better service experience for customers,” he said. In agreement, AstraPay’s Chief Marketing Officer, Reny Futsy Yama, stated that this partnership is part of AstraPay’s efforts to expand QRIS usage in the real sector, while strengthening financial and digital literacy for UMKM in Indonesia. Supported by Astra’s extensive ecosystem reaching various industrial sectors, AstraPay has collaborative strengths that enable the acceleration of digital transaction adoption to various layers of business actors in Indonesia. “This makes AstraPay not only able to provide easy-to-use payment solutions but also relevant to the needs of business actors at various scales and regions,” said Reny.
