Forestry Ministry Deploys Additional Personnel and Conducts OMC in Riau to Prevent Spread of Forest Fires

The Ministry of Forestry is continuing its efforts to extinguish forest and land fires (karhutla) in several areas of Riau Province. The Manggala Agni team, together with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), and other agencies, are conducting fire suppression operations and Operational Management Centre (OMC) activities in the region.
