The government, through the Forest Area Reclamation Task Force (Satgas PKH), has returned control of approximately 254,780.20 hectares of national park land to the state in phase VI of the reclamation process. The handover was conducted symbolically by the Attorney General, who also serves as Deputy Chair I of the Satgas PKH Directorate, ST Burhanuddin, to the Forestry Minister, Raja Juli Antoni. In addition to reclaiming the forest areas, the event included the handover of administrative fines and state financial recoveries valued at Rp 11,420,104,815,858. “Representing Minister Nusron, I attended the handover of administrative fines by Satgas PKH amounting to approximately Rp 11.42 trillion. We are grateful to fulfil the President’s expectations and those of the public, so that the nation’s wealth and natural resources can be maximised for the benefit of the people,” said Ossy, quoted from an official statement on Saturday (11/04/2026). The handover of administrative fines forms part of the government’s efforts to recover state finances and systematically reclaim forest areas. In addition to forest areas, phase VI also involved the staged handover of approximately 30,543.40 hectares of plantation land. The handover began from the Attorney General to the Finance Minister, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, then to the Head of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara, who subsequently passed it to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero). “Earlier, the President expressed appreciation to all Satgas PKH members for their hard work, and of course, continues to provide encouragement to proceed with efforts for the people, nation, and our country,” Ossy concluded.
