Forest Area Control Task Force Respects Legal Process Against Former Jampidsus

The Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) respects the legal process currently underway against former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. Febrie previously held the position of Executive Chairman of Satgas PKH. Satgas PKH Spokesperson Ambarita Simanjuntak stated that the task force operates based on organisational principles and that the Attorney General’s Office will provide an explanation in due course. He confirmed that reports on the implementation and direction of Satgas PKH duties will be submitted to President Prabowo Subianto. During a meeting on Monday, the task force did not discuss the position of Executive Chairman but focused on optimisation, synchronisation, and evaluation of task implementation. Junior Attorney General for Supervision Rudi Margono, who is also the acting Jampidsus, emphasised that the case involving the former Jampidsus, identified by the initials FA, will be handled professionally to ensure legal certainty. He noted that synergy with the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) upholds the presumption of innocence. The evidence collected by Kortastipidkor investigators is currently with the Metro Jaya Regional Police, and its transfer is pending coordination. Kortastipidkor has handed over three cases involving FA to the Jampidsus, concerning alleged corruption and money laundering in coal procurement for a power plant, PT Asabri, and PT Krakatau Steel.
