The results of forensic laboratory examinations and a re-autopsy of the body of Sutrimo, believed to be the former Head of Household Affairs for ex-Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah, are confirmed to be released this week.

Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Budhi Herwanto, stated that the Metro Jaya Police are still awaiting the results from the National Police Forensic Laboratory Centre.

He explained that the forensic laboratory examination is being conducted to determine whether or not there was any poison content in Sutrimo’s body before he was found dead.

“We are currently waiting to receive the lab results from the laboratory. We are still communicating with the Forensic Laboratory Centre,” said Budhi during a broadcast of Primetime News on Metro TV, Tuesday (25/8).

He expressed hope that the examination results can be promptly and clearly conveyed to the public by the National Police Forensic Laboratory Centre.

Metro Jaya Police investigators have also examined 27 witnesses. Six of them include ambulance drivers, hospital medical staff, and witnesses at the scene of the incident.

“Twenty-seven witnesses have been examined so far. This is to gather additional evidence,” he said.
