Foreigners held for overstaying
MANADO, North Sulawesi: The immigration office in Bitung
regency has detained nine foreigners for either overstaying or
violating their visas, Antara reported.
Three of the foreigners were from the Philippines, while the
others were Taiwanese. The agency identified the foreigners only
as JD, RT, RB, CCH, CHT, CCHS, LY, RJP, and LJ.
Head of the office Nur H. Hutoro said the last three had
overstayed their visas and would soon be deported. He did not
explain about measures to be taken against the other six. (swe)
