The government is strengthening investment governance by integrating the services for the use of Foreign Workers (TKA) across various Ministries/Agencies through the Online Single Submission (OSS) as a single-entry service.

This was announced by the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, following the signing of a Joint Decree (SKB) regarding the integration of TKA service systems across Ministries/Agencies based on a single-entry service through OSS, in Jakarta, Wednesday, 9 September 2026.

This integration aims to provide effective public services while ensuring that the use of foreign workers aligns with specific labour needs and competencies. TKA permits can be accessed via a single entry on the OSS under the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming. The system integrates the SIAPKerja system from the Ministry of Manpower and the All Indonesia system from the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services.

“The integration of TKA services is part of the government’s efforts to provide ease for the business world. The process must be simpler, faster, and more certain. Integration must not add extra stages, but rather provide better service,” said Yassierli, as quoted from his statement on Thursday, 10 September 2026.

Yassierli stated that within the dynamics of investment, foreign workers play a vital role in meeting specific competency needs for the Indonesian workforce through technology and skill transfers, as well as strengthening local labour absorption.

He expressed appreciation for the collaboration between the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services in realising this TKA service integration.

According to him, cross-ministerial synergy is a crucial part of building effective public services that are responsive to the needs of the business world. “Good public service requires collaboration. This integration shows that ministries are not working in isolation, but together to present simpler and more integrated government services,” he said.

The Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, Rosan P. Roeslani, stated that the synergy and collaboration between these three ministries is a concrete manifestation of the President’s directive to strengthen cooperation between ministries and agencies.

“Collaboration must proceed quickly, effectively, and remain in accordance with applicable regulations, thereby providing a positive impact on the economy, job creation, and public welfare,” he said.
