Foreign Tourist Levy Revenue in Bali Reaches Rp 71.4 Billion in January-March 2026

Revenue from the Foreign Tourist Levy (PWA) in the first quarter, or January to March 2026, amounted to Rp 71.4 billion. “The realisation from January to March 2026 is more than Rp 71.4 billion,” said the Head of the Bali Tourism Office, I Wayan Sumarajaya, on Monday (13/4/2026). Sumarajaya continued that monthly revenue also experienced an increase of around 11.63 percent. Furthermore, foreign tourist visits were recorded to have risen in the first quarter. “Foreign tourist visits from January to March 2026, more than 1.645 million or up 2.4 percent,” he explained. Then, the number of domestic tourists also experienced an increase compared to the first quarter of the previous year by four percent. “Domestic: 968,313 people or up four percent, preliminary data,” he added. Sumarajaya stated that this year’s revenue target is the same as last year, namely Rp 500 billion. According to him, this target is already high. He hopes for more optimal cooperation with Immigration so that foreign tourists coming to Bali can pay the levy without any leakages. “Hopefully, especially with Immigration, we can cooperate so that those leakages can be addressed,” he said.
