Foreign Net Selling Surpasses Rp 20 Trillion, BBCA Sees Highest Dump in Regular Market
Foreign funds are flowing out rapidly from Indonesia’s capital market. During the first session today, Thursday (26/3/2026), net foreign selling reached Rp 20 trillion.
However, it should be noted that there was a transaction worth Rp 18.8 trillion in FAP Agri (FAPA) shares through the negotiated market.
Based on market data, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) was the stock with the largest net foreign selling in the regular market. A total of 35.3 million BBCA shares were sold off, valued at Rp 243.8 billion.
This was followed by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) and Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) with net foreign selling of Rp 89.2 billion and Rp 79 billion, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the red at the end of the first session today, Thursday (26/3/2026). The IHSG fell 1.21% or -88.04 points to 7,214.08.
A total of 371 stocks declined, 311 rose, and 276 were unchanged. The trading value was notably high at Rp 25.94 trillion. However, Rp 18.8 trillion of this was the FAP Agri (FAPA) transaction in the negotiated market.
A total of 18.71 billion shares changed hands in 1.03 million transactions. Market capitalisation at the end of the first session dropped to Rp 12,693 trillion.
In contrast to yesterday’s trading, nearly all sectors were in the red this afternoon. Basic materials, technology, and utilities were the sectors with the deepest declines.
Even stocks that supported the IHSG yesterday became weights today. Telkom (TLKM) rose 8.2% in yesterday’s trading, but fell -3.64% today. TLKM dragged the IHSG down by 12.62 index points.
Meanwhile, Astra (ASII) dropped 4.55% to 6,300. Despite rising 13.79% yesterday, ASII burdened the IHSG by 12.28 index points.
Similarly, bourses in the region were also ablaze this afternoon. The Nikkei in Japan fell 0.84%, while the Kospi in Korea dropped -2.44%.
