Foreign Investors Unload Blue Chip Shares as JCI Suffers Sharp Correction
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) continued its downturn with a significant correction. In trading on Tuesday (28/6/2026), the index fell 0.89% to 6,130.59. A total of 360 stocks declined, 265 advanced, and 172 remained unchanged. Trading value was thin, reaching Rp10.92 trillion, involving 25.45 billion shares in 1.67 million transactions. Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a jumbo net sell of Rp1.07 trillion across all markets. The breakdown included Rp788.57 billion in the regular market and Rp276.89 billion in the negotiation and cash markets. (BMRI) with net foreign sell of Rp150.19 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) at Rp135.63 billion, PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk. (TPIA) at Rp50.91 billion, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM) at Rp48.42 billion, PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) at Rp47.91 billion, PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk. (DSSA) at Rp44.01 billion, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. (KLBF) at Rp32.17 billion, PT Indika Energy Tbk. (INDY) at Rp31.79 billion, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (TLKM) at Rp30.64 billion, and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGAS) at Rp30.30 billion.
