Foreign Investors Still Buying! These Stocks Enter the Shopping Basket
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Amid net sell actions by foreigners across the entire market, several stocks are still being targeted by global investors. On Monday’s trading (30/3/2026), foreigners recorded selective net buys in several stocks, particularly from the commodities and energy sectors.
Although the total market recorded a net sell of Rp686.1 billion, foreign fund flows were seen entering stocks based on natural resources up to conglomerates.
Adaro Andalan Indonesia (AADI) became the stock with the largest foreign net buy, namely Rp186.6 billion. This aligns with the AADI share price rising 8.86% in yesterday’s trading.
Then, the issuer owned by Hary Tanoe, MNC Digital (MSIN), also entered the list of the top 10 largest net foreign buys, with a value of Rp171.6 billion. This was followed by commodity stocks Merdeka Gold Resources (EMAS) and Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS).

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) erased its correction at the end of trading. After initially plummeting nearly 2% at the start of trading, the IHSG closed the session with a decline of 0.05% or -3.25 points to the level of 7,093.81.
467 stocks fell, 258 rose, and 233 were unchanged. The transaction value was only Rp9.89 trillion, involving 15.89 billion shares in 1.19 million transactions.
Quoting Refinitiv, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) prevented the IHSG from parking in positive territory. From the start to the end of trading, BBCA shares burdened the IHSG with a weight of more than 20 points.
Meanwhile, several conglomerate stocks tried to lift the IHSG. Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA), which rose 6.62%, contributed 16.28 index points. In addition, the issuer owned by Toto Sugiri contributed 9.42 index points, and the issuer owned by Bakrie, Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS), contributed 7.47 points.
The IHSG’s performance today can be said to be quite good compared to stock exchanges in the Asian region. The Nikkei in Japan fell 2.79%, the Kospi in Korea -2.97%, and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong -0.81%.
