Foreign Investors Snap Up These Stocks!
Jakarta – The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) surged during the first trading session on Friday, 12 June 2026, accompanied by heavy buying from foreign investors in several blue-chip stocks. Amid the market rally that pushed the IHSG back above the psychological level of 6,000, a number of issuers became targets of foreign accumulation.
Based on trading data up to the close of the first session, the IHSG strengthened by 2.68 percent to 6,043.55. The gain reflects renewed optimism among market participants returning to the Indonesian stock market.
During the session, 610 stocks advanced, 101 declined, and 100 remained unchanged. Trading activity was brisk, with a frequency of 1.36 million transactions. Total volume reached 21.56 billion shares, with a transaction value of IDR 11.85 trillion.
Foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR 492.48 billion across all markets. The total value of foreign purchases reached IDR 4.19 trillion, while foreign sales amounted to IDR 3.7 trillion, indicating that foreign funds continued to flow into the domestic market during intraday trading.
The foreign buying spree was spread across various sectors, including banking, mining, energy, and industry.
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) was the most sought-after stock by foreign investors throughout the first session. Shares of Indonesia’s largest private bank posted a net foreign buy value of IDR 182.32 billion, the highest among all issuers.
In second place was PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), with a net foreign buy of IDR 126.76 billion.
Meanwhile, natural resource sector stocks also featured on the foreign investors’ favourites list. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) recorded a net buy of IDR 79.93 billion, followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) at IDR 78.54 billion.
PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) was also among the issuers heavily collected by foreign investors, with a net buy value of IDR 74.84 billion.
