Foreign Investors Net Buy These Shares as JCI Dips in Morning Session

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors recorded a modest net buy of Rp34.2 billion in the first trading session on Monday (20/4/2026), with relatively balanced total purchases and sales of Rp2.7 trillion each.

Examining the transacted shares, foreign investors were observed entering big-cap stocks. Meanwhile, overseas investors offloaded energy/commodity shares.

On the buying side, the stock most accumulated by foreigners was BRMS, valued at Rp142.0 billion. In addition, foreigners also began entering big-cap stocks such as BBCA at Rp99.2 billion, BREN at Rp74.0 billion, and TLKM at Rp57.6 billion.

Purchases were also seen in technology stock GOTO and the sector of major bank issuers such as BMRI and BBNI.

Meanwhile, the largest foreign selling pressure occurred on ADRO at Rp69.3 billion, followed by BBRI at Rp62.8 billion and BUMI at Rp53.5 billion. In addition, foreigners offloaded commodity stocks such as ANTM and other energy stocks like AADI and CUAN.
