Foreign Investors Flood Mining Stocks as IHSG Crashes
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) failed to sustain its previous gains during Thursday’s trading (26/3/2026). The index dropped significantly by 1.89% to the level of 7,164.09.
Yesterday’s transaction value was bustling, exceeding Rp32.34 trillion, involving 31.14 billion shares in 1.7 million transactions. A total of 292 stocks rose, 380 fell, and 148 remained unchanged.
Alongside yesterday’s weakening, foreign investors were observed conducting very large net selling, exceeding Rp20.71 trillion across the entire market. The breakdown was Rp1.93 trillion in the regular market and Rp18.78 trillion in the negotiation and cash markets.
