Foreign Investors Enter IHSG in Session One; Here Are the 10 Most Bought Stocks

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed the first trading session firmly in positive territory on Friday, 3 July 2026. The index jumped 141.45 points, or 2.46%, to 5,886.01, supported by a majority of listed companies. A total of 535 stocks advanced, while only 135 declined and 289 remained unchanged.

Transaction value was recorded at Rp6.42 trillion. Throughout the morning session, foreign investors posted a net buy of Rp160.3 billion across all markets, with foreign purchases totalling Rp1.9 trillion against sales of Rp1.8 trillion.

Stocks that attracted the most foreign buying interest were led by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with a net buy of Rp91.4 billion. It was followed by PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) at Rp70.2 billion and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) at Rp65.2 billion. Other notable net buys included PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) at Rp43.9 billion, PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (ANTM) at Rp33.0 billion, and PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) at Rp32.8 billion. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) saw a net buy of Rp25.0 billion, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) Rp24.6 billion, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) Rp23.1 billion, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) Rp21.6 billion.

Conversely, the top net sell list was dominated by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), which recorded a foreign net sell of Rp176.0 billion. PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) followed with a net sell of Rp82.8 billion, and PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) with Rp56.3 billion. Other significant outflows were seen in PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) at Rp33.7 billion, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) at Rp18.7 billion, and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) at Rp15.5 billion. PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) recorded a net sell of Rp15.3 billion, PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) Rp10.9 billion, PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) Rp7.1 billion, and PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) Rp4.4 billion.
