Foreign investors were observed accumulating several mining company shares during trading on Wednesday (16/09/2026). PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) emerged as the most sought-after stock, recording a net buy of Rp88.5 billion.

This buying activity continues the trend of foreign investor interest in mining stocks, which was also evident in previous trading sessions. BRMS held the top position in the list of stocks with the largest foreign net buys, followed by PT Aneka Tamblag (Persero) Tbk (ANTM) with a net buy of Rp49.9 billion.

Foreign interest was also visible in other mining stocks, namely PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) with a net buy of Rp28.7 billion, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) at Rp24.4 billion, and PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) at Rp20.2 billion.

In addition to mining stocks, foreign investors also accumulated shares from other sectors, including PT Singaraja Putra Tbk (SINI) and PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA).

This buying spree in several mining stocks occurred while foreign investors, as a whole, still recorded a net sell in the Indonesian stock market. On Wednesday’s trading, foreign investors booked a net sell of Rp624.72 billion across the entire market. Consequently, the purchases in these mining stocks do not yet reflect a reversal of overall foreign capital flows into net buying.

The top 10 stocks with the largest foreign net buys on Wednesday (16/09/2026) were:
