PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) will optimise the momentum of increasing foreign investment in Indonesia. The government recorded that investment realisation entering Indonesia throughout the first semester of 2026 reached Rp 1,010.6 trillion. This value grew 7.2% year-on-year and has reached 49.5% of this year’s investment target of Rp 2,041.5 trillion. In terms of capital sources, the contribution of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) was relatively balanced. FDI reached Rp 507.6 trillion, while DDI amounted to Rp 502.9 trillion, or approximately 49.8% of total investment. Jababeka views this development as a positive catalyst for the company’s business growth. "Our focus is to optimise this momentum by converting investor interest into realised transactions through the provision of investment-ready industrial estates, supported by complete infrastructure and utilities as well as integrated investment services," the company stated on Friday (17/7/2026). Furthermore, the company continues to strengthen cooperation with the government, the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and various international partners to attract investment in strategic sectors such as data centres, electronics, electric vehicles (EV), logistics, and export-oriented industries. KIJA also continues to maintain its business fundamentals through a disciplined and long-term oriented strategy. On the financial side, Jababeka has successfully refinanced its US dollar-denominated Senior Notes before maturity with a long-term rupiah-denominated loan facility. This step aims to strengthen the company’s debt structure, extend the maturity profile, reduce exposure to rupiah exchange rate depreciation risk, and make financing risk more manageable. Operationally, KIJA is also continuously increasing the contribution of recurring income from infrastructure businesses, such as the provision of electricity, clean water, wastewater treatment, gas, and various estate services. KIJA is targeting pre-sales revenue, or marketing sales, of Rp 3.75 trillion in 2026. "KIJA remains disciplined in cash management and cost efficiency, and continues to expand its investor base, both domestically and internationally, so that business growth remains sustainable," the company explained.
