Foreign Direct Investment in Indonesia Reaches Rp 230.4 Trillion in Q1 2025, Up 12.7%
JAKARTA. Foreign investors continue to eye Indonesia's real sector. The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) recorded that foreign direct investment (FDI) flowing into Indonesia throughout the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp 230.4 trillion, equivalent to US$ 13.67 billion, growing approximately 12.7% compared to the same period the previous year.
The growth in FDI was in line with the realisation of domestic direct investment (PMDN), which also grew 15.9% year on year (YoY) to Rp 465.2 trillion in the first quarter of 2025.
