Foreign and Domestic Investment Realisation in Q3 2024
The breakdown of investment realisation in the third quarter of 2024 was divided between foreign direct investment (PMA) and domestic direct investment (PMDN).
PMA contributed 53.92 per cent of total investment realisation in Q3 2024. The Ministry of Investment/BKPM recorded PMA realisation of Rp232.65 trillion, representing an increase of 18.55 per cent year on year compared with Q3 2023.
"Foreign direct investment has indeed seen a more significant increase compared with the previous year, at 18.5 per cent, accounting for 53.9 per cent of total investment," said Rosan.
Meanwhile, PMDN contributed 46.08 per cent of overall investment in Q3 2024, with realisation reaching Rp198.83 trillion during the period.
"Domestic investment grew by 11.6 per cent," Rosan said.
