For the Minister of Women's Affairs
For the Minister of Women's Affairs
From Suara Karya
Reading Suara Karya's article Tutty Alawiyah sympathetic with
Karlina Leksono's struggle, I share your feelings, Tutty
Alawiyah.
Additionally, I am thinking of ways to express myself so as to
be heard by the authorities to review the steps taken against
Karlina and her friends.
But as the state minister of women's affairs, it is not enough
for you just to state your sympathy, because your function
enables you to iron out the interpretation of Karlina's struggle.
You recognize that Karlina's struggle is that of a true mother; a
part of the work program of your ministry is to give the rightful
place to women.
In accordance with the President's message to you to uphold
women's morality, Karlina's noble morality is proven by her
representation of all mothers who are responsible for fostering a
healthy generation of quality.
The action launched by Karlina and friends was only a reaction
to the stance taken by the authorities who tend to be reactive
and slow, while demand for nutrients and of the stomach know no
compromise.
The state minister of women's affairs, in cooperation with the
minister of health as well as other ministers could jointly
handle the concern voiced by Karlina and friends. I hope that
with your strong stance the concern of us all about Karlina's
fate will soon be eliminated.
Do not watch from outside the fence, that is your own turf,
please take a shovel and start digging. We are ready to join you.
