INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AGREEMENT: Garuda Indonesia has entered
into a joint venture with Lufthansa Systems for the handling of
the airline's commercial information to take advantage of the
potential growth in the Asia Pacific aviation market. The
agreement was signed by Garuda Indonesia President & CEO Indra
Setiawan (left) and Lufthansa Systems Group Chief Executive
Officer Peter Franke in Jakarta. The new joint venture will cover
a wide range of IT services, including reservations and
monitoring systems, scheduling, network management, pricing,
revenue management and the frequent flyer program.
