It helps in understanding the basic principles of design and piping stress analysis and piping code, answers to mechanical problems in industrial piping system, mastery of models, and application and interpretation of calculation results of analysis software package The main objective of this course is to learn and master the software application package CAESAR from COADE (Houston, USA) being the world standard software for piping stress analysis already applied by chemical processing plants, power plants, and other processing industries throughout Indonesia. An exclusive three-day detailed workshop based on the research and findings of the latest trends for Design & Maintenance Strategies of Storage Tanks will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Bandung, from Sept. 20 to 22, 2005.
In today's cost-competitive scenario, there is a great focus on strategically driving businesses and thereby improving the functions involved in doing so. This workshop thus focuses on the design and maintenance of bulk liquid storage tanks, and will deal with issues ranging from desludging, sludge processing and control strategies for corrosion control and repair methodologies. The workshop leader, Steve Scott, is a graduate in chemical engineering from Teesside Polytechnic, UK. Steve has worked with Imperial Chemical Industries, researching innovative chemical formulations applicable to the UK's North Sea oil fields, the Institute of Petroleum team charged with producing the I.P.
