For Female Students Only: Requirements and Application Process for the 2026 Ministry of Health SEHAT Scholarship
A higher education opportunity with financial support is now open. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Khouw Kalbe Foundation, has officially launched the 2026 SEHAT Scholarship (Sarana Edukasi untuk Harapan dan Aksi Tenaga Kesehatan). The programme targets active female students at Ministry of Health polytechnics across Indonesia, aiming to train healthcare professionals ready to strengthen services, particularly in Remote, Border, and Island Areas (DTPK). In addition to tuition support, recipients will participate in capacity development programmes, mentoring, and national and international networking opportunities.
Financial Support and Development Programmes
The 2026 SEHAT Scholarship not only covers tuition fees but also provides personal development support. Benefits include:
Education support up to Rp 10 million per semester (tuition fees, credit units, practical sessions, and competency exams)
Research support of up to Rp 3 million for diploma students in their final year
Capacity support fund of Rp 1.2 million per semester for professional programmes
Training, mentoring, and access to a learning ecosystem
Opportunity to become a mentor and undertake social projects (professional programmes)
Eligible Study Programmes
The scholarship is open to female students in the following health-related programmes:
Nursing (D3 and Professional)
Midwifery (D3 and Professional)
Nutrition and Dietetics (D3 and Professional)
Pharmacy (D3)
Environmental Sanitation (D3)
Medical Laboratory Technology (D3)
Dental Health (D3)
Health Promotion (D3)
Physiotherapy (D3 and Professional)
Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Technology (D3)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Indonesian nationality, female, and unmarried
Age 17-24 (D3/D4), maximum 27 years (professional)
Active female student at Ministry of Health polytechnics:
Semester 1 (D3/D4)
Semester 3 (advanced D4)
Semester 1 (professional)
Active in social organisations or activities
Not receiving another scholarship with similar components
Willing to become a Khouw Kalbe Foundation Ambassador
Academic requirements:
Minimum average score of 80 (D3 initial semester)
Minimum GPA of 3.30 (D4 semester 3)
Minimum GPA of 3.75 (professional)
Applicants must also submit a handwritten personal reflection essay of 250-450 words. For professional programmes, candidates must upload a 60-second social media video on their motivation to serve in DTPK areas.
