Indonesia Economic and Political Outlook 2004 - The Road To Recovery Puri Agung Sahid Jakarta. On January 13, 2004 (8.00 am - 3.00 pm).
The Independent Research & Advisory, the Indonesia Rebuilding Association (PMKI), the Indonesia Movement Preparation Committee (KPPI) and the Chinese-Indonesian Association (INTI) Jakarta will hold a joint seminar titled Economic and Political Outlook 2004: The Road to Recovery. The seminar is expected to provide a comprehensive picture on the economic and political issues facing Indonesia in election year and in the years to come.
The seminar will feature the following speakers: PMKI Chairman Nurcholish Madjid, World Bank Country Director Andrew Steer, KPPI Presidium Chairman Faisal Basri, Independent Research & Advisory Director Lin Che Wei, INTI Jakarta Chairman Benny G. Setiono, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) senior researcher Mochtar Pabottingi, University of Indonesia Economics Faculty Research Director Chatib Basri, Charoen Pokphand CEO Rudyan Kopot, Melbourne University senior lecturer Arief Budiman, Tempo magazine Chief Editor Bambang Harymurti, and Apresindo Chairman Anton Supit.
PMKI Executive Director Sudirman Said will act as moderator.
