Food Prices Today: Red Bird's Eye Chilli Rp 83,100 per Kg, Chicken Eggs Rp 32,550

The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, records prices for various food commodities including chilli, eggs, rice, chicken meat, and cooking oil. Referring to data from Saturday at 10:10, the price of red bird’s eye chilli reaches Rp 83,100. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken eggs is recorded at Rp 32,550 per kg.

In addition to chilli and chicken eggs, national retail prices for other food items include shallots at Rp 47,350 per kg, and garlic at Rp 40,200 per kg.

For rice, the price of lower quality I is Rp 14,500 per kg, lower quality II at Rp 14,550 per kg. Meanwhile, medium quality I rice is priced at Rp 16,050 per kg and medium quality II at Rp 15,900 per kg.

For super quality I rice at Rp 17,300 per kg, and super quality II at Rp 16,500 per kg.

Still from PIHPS data, large red chilli is recorded at Rp 48,000 per kg. Curly red chilli at Rp 45,600 per kg and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp 52,950 per kg.

The price of fresh broiler chicken meat is recorded at Rp 41,500 per kg, beef quality I at Rp 147,650 per kg, while beef quality II at Rp 137,950 per kg.

Premium white sugar for today is recorded at Rp 20,150 per kg, local white sugar at Rp 19,100 per kg.

Bulk cooking oil today is recorded at Rp 20,100 per litre. Branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp 23,250 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp 22,350 per litre.
