Food exhibition in Magelang

MAGELANG, Central Java: In commemoration of World Food Day,
celebrated on the first Monday in November, the regency of
Magelang, Central Java, will hold a two-day food exhibition
starting on Nov. 10.

Regent's deputy for administration and development Soeharto
said here on Tuesday that the expo would take place in the
village of Bojong in the Mungkid district.

"We will display various high quality fruit and food
products," Soeharto said. "We have excellent watermelons,
mushrooms and other kinds of vegetables."

The exhibition will involve participants from 21 districts.
