Food and Beverage Products Exhibition, SIAL Interfood to be Attended by Participants from 25 Countries

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The international food and beverage innovation exhibition, SIAL Interfood, will return to JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from 4 to 6 November.

CEO of the Food and Beverage Division of Comexposium, Rodolphe Lameyse, stated that the exhibition will feature participants from 25 countries, such as China, Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe, and the Middle East (EMEA).

The exhibition will be organised by Seven Events in collaboration with Comexposium, with support from the Ministry of Industry.

“The SIAL network is now entering a very important new phase,” said Rodolphe during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

SIAL will bridge potential buyers with exhibitors through a structured system.

“This facility aims to maximise time efficiency at the exhibition and ensure the creation of real and sustainable strategic partnerships,” Rodolphe added.

Several innovations to be showcased include frozen foods, innovations in food processing technology, and the coffee and tea industries.

According to Rodolphe, participants will present the most innovative products at the exhibition.

They will also compete and receive evaluations from judges on aspects such as quality, originality, and market impact in the SIAL Innovation programme.

In addition, SIAL is partnering with the international chefs’ association for the International Cooking Competition, which is part of the events at JIExpo.

Top chefs from various countries will compete to demonstrate their creativity.

“Direct judging by world-class judges,” Rodolphe stated.
