The phenomenon of silver humans, beggars, and buskers at Denpasar traffic lights in Bali has yet to subside. Now, road users, particularly car drivers, are once again disturbed by the emergence of window cleaning services.

Based on a post from the social media account @balibackseat on Saturday (11/4/2026), a man is seen approaching a car and immediately cleaning the front and rear windscreens. The action was recorded by a driver’s dashcam.

In the video, the man appears to be wearing a black cap, white mask, white T-shirt, green vest, and carrying a sling bag.

“Besides silver humans, a new phenomenon has appeared on Bali’s roads: car window cleaning services,” the social media account wrote.

An investigation by detikBali revealed that the incident occurred at the exit of the Bali Mandara toll road, specifically on Jalan Raya Pelabuhan Benoa in Denpasar. However, during monitoring on Monday morning (13/4/2026), no window cleaning service activities were observed at the location, either from the toll exit, Sesetan, or Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai.

Meanwhile, the Head of Satpol PP for Denpasar City, Anak Agung Ngurah Bawa Nendra, commented on the phenomenon. “In response to public complaints regarding window cleaning services at the Pesanggaran traffic light, there are currently no social disturbances,” he said on Monday.

Nendra added that Satpol PP Denpasar City will continue to conduct surveillance and tighten security, particularly in locations that often become hotspots for activities such as busking or window cleaning.

“We will continue to monitor points that we consider vulnerable. We will tighten it further,” he added.
