Follow-up Flooding Again Damages Residential Areas in Nagari Sungai Batang

Road access in the area, which was hit by a flash flood disaster in November 2025 and had been cleared by January 2026, has once again been buried under rocks and sand following a follow-up flood that struck on Wednesday (11/2).
Residents were seen standing beside their damaged homes, now engulfed by flood material, as the community faces yet another round of destruction in the disaster-prone locality.
