Flyover Latumenten Construction Underway, Dishub Implements Traffic Engineering
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub DKI) is implementing traffic engineering on several road sections in conjunction with the construction of the Latumenten Flyover in West Jakarta, which will proceed in phases from May to June 2026, during nighttime to early morning hours.
“In connection with the Girder Erection Work for the Latumenten Flyover (FO) Construction in the West Jakarta Administrative City, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency is carrying out traffic engineering,” said Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Ujang Harmawan, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to Ujang, the flyover construction work will be carried out in stages. Therefore, traffic engineering will be implemented according to the work phases to support the flyover construction.
Based on the official announcement from Dishub DKI Jakarta, the work will be conducted in phases starting from May to June 2026, from 22:00 to 04:00 WIB.
The first phase involves the delivery and lowering of PC-U girders on the western side of Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumenten from 7–11 May 2026. This will be followed by work on the eastern side of Jalan Dr. Makaliwe Raya from 14–18 May 2026.
Meanwhile, the erection of PC-U girders on the western side of Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumenten is scheduled for 18–26 May 2026. The work on the eastern side of Jalan Dr. Makaliwe Raya will take place from 29 May to 5 June 2026.
During the construction period, Dishub DKI will apply traffic engineering at several points.
For the western side, heavy vehicles from the south, east, or west heading north will be diverted via Jalan Daan Mogot and Jalan P. Tubagus Angke.
Small vehicles can proceed via Jalan Hadiah–Jalan Hadiah 1–Jalan Hadiah 2–Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumenten Barat 3 or via Jalan Dr. Susilo I–Jalan Dr. Muwardi I–Jalan Dr. Muwardi II–Jalan Dr. Muwardi–Jalan Semeru–and so on.
Traffic from the north heading south can still pass through.
On the eastern side, heavy vehicles from the north heading south will be directed to turn back before Season City towards Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumenten, Jalan P. Tubagus Angke, and Jalan Daan Mogot.
Small vehicles will be directed via Jalan Semeru–Jalan Dr. Muwardi–Jalan Dr. Susilo 1–and so on, or via Jalan Dr. Semeru I.
Dishub DKI urges road users to comply with the established traffic arrangements, obey signs and instructions from officers on the ground, and prioritise safety while passing through the construction area.
