FLPP Distribution in 2026 Reaches 102,900 Units, Government Urges Acceleration
The distribution of Subsidised Home Ownership Loans (KPR) under the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) throughout 2026 continues to face challenges. As of 16 July 2026, the realisation of subsidised mortgages had only reached 102,900 units, while the government is targeting this year’s distribution to surpass the 2025 achievement of more than 278,000 units.
Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait stated that entering the middle of the year, BP Tapera must accelerate distribution so as not to lag behind the previous year’s achievement. ‘As of today, it is 102,900 units. It is already July. So BP Tapera has a tough challenge to surpass last year,’ said Maruarar during the inauguration of BP Tapera’s new office at Graha Mandiri Building, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (16/7).
According to Maruarar, the FLPP programme has been running since 2010. Until 2023, the highest distribution record was around 229,000 units, before jumping to more than 278,000 units in 2025. ‘Until 2023, the largest distribution was 229,000 units. In just one year of President Prabowo’s administration, there was a leap to 278,000 units in 2025,’ he said.
To catch up, the government will hold another Tapera Committee meeting on 23 July 2026 to evaluate BP Tapera’s readiness in accelerating the distribution of subsidised housing. ‘If they are not ready, we have met and will meet again next week. I ask that they be truly prepared. I see the office is good, so I hope the performance is even better,’ he stressed.
Maruarar also urged all BP Tapera staff to work harder and continue to make breakthroughs without neglecting good governance. ‘This is not the time to relax. This is the time to work hard, to make breakthroughs in accordance with governance,’ he said.
On the same occasion, Maruarar inaugurated BP Tapera’s new office located on the 5th floor of Graha Mandiri Building, Jalan Imam Bonjol No. 61, Central Jakarta. He stated that the office relocation should be a momentum to enhance professionalism, integrity, and service quality to the public.
He emphasised that BP Tapera holds a strategic role in supporting the 3 Million Houses Programme through the management and distribution of FLPP funds. Therefore, the institution is expected to become more credible with transparent and accountable governance, as well as to strengthen collaboration with all stakeholders.
Meanwhile, BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said the office relocation is not merely a change of workplace, but part of a strategy to strengthen organisational performance and improve service quality to the public and partners. ‘We want to ensure that every housing financing distribution process runs faster, more transparently, and provides broader benefits for low-income communities,’ said Heru.
He revealed that as of 15 July 2026, the realisation of KPR Sejahtera FLPP distribution had reached 101,978 units with a financing value of Rp12.67 trillion. In addition, there are 25,599 units still in various stages of the process, ranging from construction, credit approval, to credit agreements that have not yet been disbursed.
According to Heru, this achievement shows that collaboration between the government, BP Tapera, distributing banks, and developers continues to run in expanding access to home ownership for low-income communities. His party is optimistic that the 2026 FLPP distribution target can be achieved through strengthening cooperation with all partners.
As part of the acceleration effort, BP Tapera together with the Ministry of PKP is preparing a mass contract signing and key handover for approximately 62,530 units of KPR Sejahtera FLPP scheduled for 30 July 2026 at Perumahan Puri Delta City Side, Batang Regency, Central Java. The activity will involve around 200 debtors attending in person and 62,330 debtors online from 36 provinces through 43 KPR Sejahtera FLPP distributing banks.
This mass contract signing is expected to be one of the steps to accelerate the distribution of subsidised housing while strengthening collaboration between the government, banks, and developers in supporting the 3 Million Houses programme target for low-income communities.
