Floral Tributes Express Gratitude Over Dismissal of BGN Officials Displayed at Office

A number of floral arrangements were observed in the front courtyard of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). The majority of these arrangements contained congratulatory messages regarding the change in leadership of the agency responsible for managing the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme.

According to observations, there were at least a dozen floral arrangements at the BGN office. However, one particular arrangement, sent on behalf of Gema Kosgoro, carried a message different from the others. Instead of merely offering congratulations to the new BGN leadership, the arrangement expressed appreciation for the dismissal of Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, and Lodewyk Pusung. “Thank you, Mr President, for the dismissal of Dadan, Sony, and Lodewyk,” the floral tribute read.

The arrangement also included well-wishes for the incoming BGN leaders, stating, “Congratulations on your duties, new BGN leadership.”

It is reported that President Prabowo Subianto implemented the leadership changes at the BGN on Tuesday (2/6/2026). This move was conducted as part of an evaluation and strengthening of the implementation of the government’s priority programmes.
