Flooding occurred at several points along the Pantura route in Pasuruan since last night. This morning, the flood has receded. The previous flooding submerged the Pantura route in Desa Beji, Beji Subdistrict, which connects the Gempol-Bangil areas, on Tuesday night (24/3/2026). This route was closed due to deep water pooling. In addition, flooding also submerged the Pantura route on Jalan Ir Juanda in Pasuruan City. As a result, the road was closed, and vehicles were diverted to the Southern Ring Road or the toll road. “The Pantura route is now passable,” said the Head of UPT P3 LLAJ of the East Java Transportation Agency, Yulianto, as reported by detikJatim on Wednesday (25/3/2026). Pasuruan City BPBD personnel are cleaning Jalan Ir Juanda of mud left by the flood, particularly above the Buk Wedi Bridge and its surroundings. “Cleanup is still ongoing,” stated the Pasuruan City BPBD Operations Control Centre. It is known that rivers overflowed due to widespread heavy rain since the afternoon, flooding settlements and residents’ homes in Pasuruan Regency and City areas. The flooding also paralysed the Pantura route and several main roads on Tuesday night (24/3/2026).
