The residents of Kampung Melayu Besar in East Jakarta were
victims of the recent floods and hereby call on the Public Works
Ministry to immediately remove the leftover garbage and mud along
Jl. Gang Mesjid I. Heaps of garbage and refuse together with
decaying dead animals are producing a putrid smell which is
unpleasant for the community.

Many of us are suffering from fever, flu and diarrhea, all of
which are common after a flood. The neighborhood chief has asked
the local authorities to remove the waste but no action has been
taken.

Please help us avoid any additional hazards.
