Several locations in West Jakarta and South Jakarta have been flooded since Saturday (7 March) until Sunday morning (8 March). According to records from the Jakarta Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), 39 neighbourhood units (RTs) and 13 roads in Jakarta were flooded due to heavy rainfall.

The flooding occurred due to heavy rain in Jakarta and its surroundings from Saturday to Sunday, said Mohamad Yohan, Head of the Disaster Data and Information Centre at BPBD DKI Jakarta, in Jakarta on Sunday, as reported by Antara.
