Flooding Spreads Across Jakarta This Morning: 61 Neighbourhood Units Submerged, Six Road Sections Waterlogged
Flood-affected areas in Jakarta expanded to 61 neighbourhood units (RT) this morning, with six road sections also reported waterlogged.
The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported the data, compiled as of 07:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on Friday, 20 February 2026. The flooded areas are spread across West Jakarta and South Jakarta, caused by heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers.
Three neighbourhood units were submerged in West Jakarta, specifically in the Kedaung Kali Angke area, with water levels reaching 30 centimetres. Meanwhile, 58 neighbourhood units were flooded in South Jakarta, with water levels reaching up to 110 centimetres.
BPBD DKI also reported six waterlogged road sections, including Jalan Gaya Motor Raya in Kebon Bawang sub-district, North Jakarta, and Jalan Pondok Karya in Pela Mampang sub-district, South Jakarta, where water reached 60 centimetres.

West Jakarta — 3 neighbourhood units:
Kedaung Kali Angke sub-district: 3 RT. Water level: 30 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall.
South Jakarta — 58 neighbourhood units:
Cilandak Barat sub-district: 1 RT. Water level: 50 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Krukut.
Lebak Bulus sub-district: 2 RT. Water level: 20 to 60 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Grogol Mampang.
Cipete Utara sub-district: 3 RT. Water level: 110 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Krukut.
Petogogan sub-district: 39 RT. Water level: 40 to 75 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall, overflow of Kali Krukut and overflow of PHB Nipam.
Cilandak Timur sub-district: 2 RT. Water level: 80 to 120 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Krukut.
Bintaro sub-district: 5 RT. Water level: 40 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Pesanggrahan.
Pesanggrahan sub-district: 5 RT. Water level: 60 to 70 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Uangan.
Ulujami sub-district: 1 RT. Water level: 80 cm. Cause: Heavy rainfall and overflow of Kali Uangan.
