Flooding on Tracks at Tenjo Temporarily Halts KRL, Rangkasbitung Route Services Now Recovering
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - KRL Commuter Line services on the Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung route were temporarily disrupted due to water pooling on the tracks near Tenjo Station following heavy rain. This information was shared via the official X account of KAI Commuter, @CommuterLine. “There is currently water pooling due to heavy rain on the tracks near Tenjo Station,” wrote KAI Commuter. As a result of the flooding, KRL trains heading to Rangkasbitung were unable to pass through the affected area for a time. To mitigate the disruption, KAI Commuter implemented operational adjustments. Train KA 1716D from Tanah Abang to Rangkasbitung was operated only as far as Daru Station, then returned as KA 1757D from Daru to Tanah Abang. Over time, the water levels began to subside. KRL services to and from Rangkasbitung can now pass through again, albeit with speed restrictions. “Commuter Line services to and from Rangkasbitung Station can now pass through the flooded area with limited speed,” wrote KAI Commuter. KAI Commuter also expressed apologies for the delays and discomfort caused to passengers.
