Flooding of Mampang Underpass Blocks Road Access

Officials checked the water level flooding the Mampang Underpass area in Jakarta on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The flood, around 30–70 centimetres high, had persisted since the morning after heavy overnight rain. Officials said the inundation occurred as drainage from urban outlets flowed into Kali Krukut, causing it to overflow. Consequently, access to the Mampang Underpass road was temporarily closed. Traffic officers from the Dinas Perhubungan managed the flow of traffic as the Underpass access was closed.
