There is flooding, but it does not disrupt bus operations. Buses are still operating as usual, and the water levels are now starting to recede,” said the Head of Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Revi Zulkarnain, when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta on Sunday. Revi stated that buses and Transjakarta services are ensured to run normally without significant disruptions. According to him, the flooding began around 10:00 p.m. WIB. The water entering the terminal area came from the overflow of the Cipinang River following heavy rain in the region. “The water height reached about 10 to 20 centimetres due to heavy rain and river overflow,” he said. “Buses continue to serve passengers without any trip cancellations due to the flooding,” he added. According to him, terminal staff are continuously monitoring conditions on the ground to anticipate possible subsequent flooding, especially if heavy rain returns. As the water recedes, passenger activities at the terminal are gradually returning to normal. Nevertheless, the management still urges transport users to be alert to weather conditions and potential flooding at several points, particularly in areas traversed by river flows.
