Flood hotspots in Jakarta rise to 148 RTs, water height reaches 150 cm
The Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD DKI Jakarta) has updated the flood hotspots that inundated several areas due to overnight rainfall. At present, 148 RTs are flooded.
BPBD notes that there are currently 148 RTs and 20 roads inundated, said Isnawa Adji, the Executive Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta, in a statement on Sunday (8 March 2026).
Isnawa said the data were compiled up to 12:00 WIB. According to the data, flood heights reached up to 150 cm.
BPBD DKI Jakarta deployed personnel to monitor flood conditions in each area. The agency also coordinated with relevant stakeholders to pump out floodwater and ensure that the water channels were functioning properly.
