Flood hits Kulonprogo

YOGYAKARTA: Torrential rain since Tuesday caused floods in the
village of Sindutan in the district of Sindutan, Kulonprogo
regency, Yogyakarta, on Wednesday.

Water levels reached 1.5 meters and forced 180 people to seek
refuge.

A local Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) official, Yuliana, said
that the flood victims were in desperate need of clothing.

"We want people to donate their used clothes to the flood
